Here are a few tips to keep you and the aircraft safe and undamaged.
A good guide for pulling and pushing the 172 in or out of the hanger is the seam in the concrete pad. Use that as a guide to keep the wings centered along the hanger.
For the 150 use the red tape on the floor and keep the wheels inside the pair of red tape lines.
Always keep an eye on the wingtips and the tail when moving aircraft.
Refueling can not be done in the hangers. When waiting for fuel arrange the aircraft for easy access by the fuel truck. Keep in mind Landmark prefers fuel sales of 10 gallons or more so it may be OK to skip refueling if the next flight is a short training flight.
After your preflight and before you get in to start, up walk the nose and look around for problems; such as doors open, chocks, tow bars, low tires, flaps, wings. If you are not actively towing then detach the towbar and do not leave it on the aircraft at any time other then when it is moving.
Taxi at brisk walking speed.
Checklists have been proven to be superior safety enhancers. |

The Rockwell Flying Club was founded in 1975 to provide affordable aircraft to its member-pilots. Aircraft are owned, leased, or rented as necessary to provide adequate availability to its members. Aircraft are added or eliminated from inventory as needed by its membership.
Membership is open to all Rockwell Collins, Inc. employees, retirees, and their spouses.
To use the Arrow, you must have at least 100 hours of flight time and a 10 hour checkout if you have not flown complex aircraft. Flight instructors are available for checkout, flight reviews and basic and instrument flight instruction. You can also work on your commercial or certified flight instructor license.
